UTILITY

After doing cast-bronze furniture restoration and a sculpture project for designer, collector, Michael Boyd (Boyd Design), Michael turned to Grant when he embarked on the creation of his new furniture series which so far includes a chair, table, stools, as well as a few items of décor. For this work, Grant is able to employ unique woods and to cast bronze and aluminum. Some of the first pieces were shown at Michael’s 2013/2014 exhibit at Hedge, San Francisco, CA, “re: Visions, The World of Michael Boyd.” Grant is collaborating with Michael on a piece titled Bat Chair, which prototype image is shown above. The project is on-going.
